Watch a Session
Highlights from a live session with students of Gen. Thimmayya School on screen time and the importance of staying active
About the Initiative
Education is about much more than textbooks and exams. Through our Virtual Learning Sessions, we connect directly with students in the schools we support over live Zoom calls, covering topics that matter to their everyday lives but rarely make it into the school curriculum.
Each session is designed to be interactive and relatable — students ask questions, share their own experiences, and leave with practical takeaways they can apply immediately. Because the sessions are virtual, we can reach students regularly throughout the school year, no matter the distance.
One of our first sessions, held with students of Gen. Thimmayya School in Madikeri, explored the impact of screen time on young minds — and how staying physically active, playing sports, and spending time outdoors help build healthier, happier habits.
